Ian’s valuation and property experience began in Brisbane in 1997 where he worked in industrial and commercial sales and leasing. The experience gained in this role proved to be a valuable introduction to the industry, joining Herron Todd White as an assistant valuer in 1999. Over the following years, Ian progressed to become a registered commercial valuer and in 2005 a Director of Herron Todd White Darling Downs.

Ian manages the Commercial Division of the Darling Downs office which services the Toowoomba and surrounding areas of south-west Queensland as well as the Brisbane Valley. As a specialist in the commercial sector Ian undertakes and oversees a variety of commercial property valuations and consultancy tasks across the retail, industrial, commercial sector, going concern hotels, motels and services stations and also the residential sector.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Business (Property Studies) and is an active member of the Toowoomba property industry including membership of the local UDIA branch and having held a number of roles on the Committee over past years.
