Dave began working at Herron Todd White as a valuer in 1993. He left three years later to pursue other interests but returned in 2010 after working as a senior valuer with other valuation firms. He became a Director of Herron Todd White Lismore in 2010 and specialises in residential and commercial property valuation. Dave's residential areas of specialisation include prestige residential and rural residential, medium density and residential developments and feasibility analysis.

Dave also undertakes valuations of commercial, retail and industrial properties, as well as compensation for properties acquired by statutory authorities and asset valuations. Dave's commercial areas of specialisation include shopping centres, supermarkets, retail, specialised industrial properties and retail, mixed use and industrial developments and feasibility analysis.
