Early on in his career Darren worked as a UK based RICS Chartered Surveyor specialising in providing advice to private clients and lending institutions regarding residential and commercial valuations. Over a 15 year period he also provided advice regarding landlord and tenant issues including rent reviews, lease renewals, disputes and schedules of condition and expert witness reports in relation to property disputes.

During this period Darren also delivered commercial agency advice and conducted negotiations on behalf of landlords/vendors and tenants/purchasers. Since joining Herron Todd White Newcastle in 2013, Darren valued a range of residential and rural residential property throughout Newcastle and the Hunter regions.
