Herron Todd White (HTW), Australia's largest property valuation, insights and advisory firm, has celebrated a significant milestone for the property profession, with Kevin Brogan, HTW Director, Valuation Risk and Compliance, awarded a prestigious Life Fellowship at the Australian Property Institute's (API) centenary gala celebration.
The Life Fellowship recognises Kevin's longstanding contribution to the property valuation profession, his professional leadership and his commitment to advancing industry standards and supporting the next generation of property professionals.
The recognition was a highlight of the API100 Gala, which brought together leading figures from across Australia's property industry to celebrate 100 years of professional excellence, leadership and achievement.
HTW also celebrated three of its professionals who were named finalists in the API's Excellence in Property Awards, recognising their achievements in innovation, professional leadership and contributions to the future of the industry.
HTW Group Chief Executive Officer Peter Maloney was joined by Kerry Herron, a founder of Herron Todd White and a Life Fellow of the Australian Property Institute, to celebrate the occasion, reflecting the company's longstanding relationship with the API and its enduring commitment to the property profession.
Mr Maloney said Kevin's recognition was a proud moment for Herron Todd White and a reflection of the calibre of professionals who have helped shape the organisation and the industry.
"Kevin's Life Fellowship is an outstanding and thoroughly deserved recognition of his contribution to the Australian property profession," Mr Maloney said.
"At Herron Todd White, we are incredibly proud of our history and the role our people have played in advancing professional standards, mentoring future leaders and delivering trusted property advice across Australia.
"Having Kerry Herron, himself an API Life Fellow, join us for the centenary celebrations was particularly special. It was an opportunity to reflect on our own history, the relationships that have shaped our business and our enduring commitment to the profession.
"We are equally proud of our three award finalists, whose achievements demonstrate the depth of talent and expertise across our national business."
Reflecting on the recognition, Kevin Brogan said receiving the Life Fellowship was an unexpected honour and a particularly meaningful moment in his career.
"The API Centenary Gala Dinner was a wonderful evening celebrating 100 years of the profession alongside friends and colleagues from across the property valuation industry," Mr Brogan said.
"I have always been proud to contribute to the advancement of our profession throughout my career, but to have that contribution recognised by the Australian Property Institute with a Life Fellowship was both unexpected and an incredible honour.
"It was a particularly special occasion to share with colleagues and industry peers who have contributed so much to the profession over the years."
Gavin Hulcombe, HTW Managing Director, Commercial, Agribusiness and Government, and a Board Member of both Herron Todd White and the Australian Property Institute, said the centenary celebration highlighted the important role the API continues to play in strengthening the profession.
"For 100 years, the Australian Property Institute has played a critical role in establishing professional standards, promoting education and maintaining public confidence in property valuation and advisory services," Mr Hulcombe said.
"Kevin's Life Fellowship is recognition of an exceptional contribution to our industry, and it is particularly pleasing to see the achievements of our next generation of professionals recognised alongside those who have helped build the profession.
"As both an API Board Member and a leader at Herron Todd White, I am proud of the strong relationship between our organisations and our shared commitment to professional excellence, integrity and the future of the industry."
