The annual Herron Todd White Perth Property Overview Breakfast brought together more than 250 clients, brokers, builders, and property professionals at the beautiful Kings Park State Reception Centre, setting the stage for an insightful morning of market updates and analysis.

The event has grown significantly over recent years, building a reputation as a must-attend occasion for those with a keen interest in the Western Australian property landscape. This year’s turnout demonstrated the strong demand for informed perspectives and trusted commentary on a market that continues to shift and evolve.

The audience heard from three leading voices who each brought a unique perspective to the state of the WA market.

First, Brendon Ptolomey delivered a comprehensive update on the residential sector. Drawing from his extensive experience and the thousands of properties valued by our teams each day, Brendon highlighted key trends shaping buyer sentiment, supply and demand factors, and how broader economic settings are influencing the residential market. His presentation gave attendees a clear picture of both the opportunities and challenges ahead for homeowners, investors, and developers.

Turning to the commercial space, Greg Mullins provided an in-depth overview of Western Australia’s office, retail, and industrial markets. He discussed shifting demand patterns, the influence of interest rate movements, and the emerging opportunities for investors and occupiers. Greg’s analysis underscored the resilience of certain asset classes and the importance of informed decision-making in a changing environment.

Rounding out the program, we welcomed Trent Fleskens, one of Perth’s most recognisable property commentators. Known for his candid style and strong market knowledge, Trent gave an honest and insightful look at the broader state economy and its flow-on effects for Perth’s property markets. His address sparked conversation across the room, offering both reassurance and challenge for stakeholders navigating current conditions.

What sets the Property Overview Breakfast apart is its ability to bring together a cross-section of the industry, clients, brokers, financiers, and builders, in one room to hear perspectives grounded in real-world data.

As valuers working across thousands of properties every day, we have a unique vantage point on the market. This event allows us to share those insights openly, helping our clients and partners make informed choices in their own businesses and investments.

Over the past few years, the event has evolved not only in scale but also in the richness of discussion. The growing interest we continue to see reinforces the importance of having trusted, data-driven voices helping to cut through noise and speculation.

We were delighted to see so many familiar faces as well as new guests who are just beginning to engage with the event. The strength of the attendance underscores the appetite for deeper understanding of what is happening across both residential and commercial sectors.

For those unable to attend on the day, or for anyone wanting to revisit the presentations, resources from the event are now available. We encourage you to catch up and stay connected with the insights shared, as they will no doubt influence decisions being made across Western Australia’s property markets in the months ahead.

We thank all who attended and contributed to another successful event. We look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to provide clarity, context, and confidence in the property landscape.
